Brand Strategy, Identity, and App Experience

The journey began by understanding Lulu’s Taxi at its core—exploring its values, customer base, and how it differs from traditional ride services. Research revealed an opportunity to position the brand as friendly, reliable, and community-driven, offering a personalized and safe experience.

To bring this positioning to life, I developed a vibrant brand identity centered around movement, comfort, and approachability. The logo combined playful typography with iconography inspired by urban routes and personal service. A fresh color palette and graphic elements helped distinguish Lulu’s from more corporate competitors.

User flows were designed to make the booking experience intuitive and welcoming, especially for frequent riders and older demographics. Wireframes and prototypes emphasized clarity, easy navigation, and cheerful visuals. Accessibility features, safety indicators, and personalized rider profiles played key roles in building trust and usability.

Real-World Branding, Digital Presence, and Launch

Taxi decals, driver uniforms, and printed collateral were designed to extend the brand experience into real-world touchpoints. I also created branded flyers, referral cards, and signage that reinforced Lulu’s friendly personality while making the brand visible across local communities.

To introduce Lulu’s Taxi as a modern alternative with personal charm, I developed social media content, a responsive website, and digital advertising campaigns. Launch materials featured rider stories, local engagement, and smooth service visuals—driving early adoption and building trust. The result was a cohesive brand presence that felt both professional and warmly familiar.

Reflection

Designing for Lulu’s Taxi was about reimagining everyday transport through a human lens. This project taught me how warmth and clarity can redefine utility—and how visual language transforms a local service into something memorable and meaningful. It reminded me that design isn’t just about mobility—it’s about making people feel good on the move.
